14 TV shows I could watch a zillion times

Everyone has them... TV shows they could watch over and over again until they knew every single line of every single episode.  Here's my list (don't judge):

1.  Boy Meets World  |  Why?:  Because you catch something new each time you watch it.  And Mr. Feeny.

2.  Gilmore Girls  |  Why?:  Because the wit.  And Luke & Lorelei.  And coffee.

3.  Gossip Girl  |  Why?:  Because Chuck & Blair forever. <3

4.  Friends  |  Why?:  Because of many reasons.  Rachel & Ross.  Phoebe.  Joey.  Central Perk.

5.  The Office (The U.S. version)  |  Why?:  Michael Scott.  Dwight.

6.  The X-Files  |  Why?:  Because it was the best reason to stay up late on Friday nights when I was a kid.

7.  Breaking Bad  |  Why?:  Because the suspense.

8.  The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air  |  Why?:  Because this is a no-brainer.

9.  South Park  |  Why?:  Because sometimes a little rude/crude/not P.C. humor is good for you.  Also, Cartman.

10.  Home Improvement  |  Why?:  Because J.T.T.  #swoon

11.  The First 48  |  Why?:  Because it's so easy to get sucked into reality crime shows.

12.  That 70's Show  |  Why?:  Because Red Foreman.

13.  Sabrina the Teenage Witch  |  Why?:  Because it's awesome.

14.  Parenthood  |  Why?:  Because all the feels.  All of them.

If there's any of these you haven't seen, you've got some watching to do.

england : day seven

Monday was that sad, last-day-before-going-home day. You know that day I'm talking about? The day you have to pack up and think about the fact that you'll actually be leaving the next day. The day where you don't talk about it being sad but it's unspoken and everyone knows it's sad. That was Monday.

Tom and I went to John Watt and Son Coffee House for breakfast. I'd been there before and really liked it and wanted to get a full English. I could eat breakfast for every meal.

I wanted to do a little shopping before going home so later in the afternoon we headed into town to do that. I found a couple small gifts for friends and found myself some new running shoes. After that, we both kind of just wanted to hang out and do nothing so we went back to his house to order in pizza and once again watch Breaking Bad. We made it to the beginning of the last season while I was there so now we just have season 5 left to watch!

hibernation mode

Even after living in Michigan my whole 25 years, and experiencing winter after winter and snowfall after snowfall, I still am not a fan. So as the cold weather settles in every year, I inadvertently fall into hibernation mode.

I know I just said a couple posts ago that I'd be trying to spend less time staring at screens, but as it goes, I have been watching so many new (to me) TV shows the past couple weeks. Also, thanks to my friend and fellow blogger, Jamie, I've become slightly hooked on a few trash reality shows!

Here's the list of programs streaming through my Netflix and Hulu:

  • Gossip Girl (like 10 years late getting into this but I can't stop watching)
  • Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 (only watched 2 or 3 episodes thus far but Chloe is hilarious)
  • Derek (just finished season 1 and it was absolutely the best)
  • The Only Way is Essex (think "The Hills" but British)
  • It's All About Amy (featuring Amy Childs from The Only Way is Essex)
  • The Walking Dead (mid-season breaks are the worst-- I need to know what happens!)
  • Parenthood (so many feels)
  • New Girl (have not been feelin' Coach but I still love it)
  • The Gilmore Girls (this show will never fail to cheer me up or make me laugh-- so much wit!)
  • Breaking Bad (I actually haven't started this one yet but I have plans to see what the hype is about)
  • Misfits (a British sci-fi slash drama that I'm not sure if I can get into but I might try)
  • Pretty Little Liars (guilty pleasure numero uno-- who the eff is A?!)
I'm pretty sure this list will keep me busy through the spring thaw. I know I can't be the only one who hibernates in the winter. What do you guys watch when the weather is too frightful to bear?

Now back to Gossip Girl (Nate just found out about Chuck and Blair!!)
